Oysterfest 2011

The Walrus took the day off Sunday, October 2nd to take in Oysterfest in Shelton, Washington. Our own Anthony Pane took 9th place overall in the halfshell shucking competition, and Cody Spafford placed 22nd in the same event. This 30-year-old oyster celebration is the premier West Coast oyster shucking event, and we couldn’t be more proud of Anthony’s and Cody’s efforts.
